Origin Story
The Pittsburgh Noshery was inspired by some of my fondest childhood memories.
My grandparents were deeply involved in our church and community. Growing up, I often helped with church events, fundraisers, and the kind of social gatherings that brought people together long before social media existed. With five children of their own, my grandparents' home was often filled with family, laughter, and shared meals. Those crowded tables and gatherings remain some of my most treasured memories and taught me the value of connection, hospitality, and community.
Among all of those cherished memories, I looked forward to the annual Mother's Day Tea. There was something magical about beautiful table settings, delicate bites, fragrant tea, and friendly conversation. It transformed an ordinary afternoon into something special. It wasn't just about the food; it was about taking the time to gather, celebrate one another, and create joyful memories. Those simple moments brought a touch of elegance to everyday life and reminded everyone that meaningful experiences don't have to be grand to be memorable.
Years later, those experiences continue to inspire me. The Pittsburgh Noshery was created to carry that same spirit forward—a place where food, tea, gifts, and hospitality come together to help people slow down, connect, and celebrate life's meaningful moments. From timeless afternoon tea traditions to modern charcuterie and gifting experiences, every offering is rooted in the belief that good food brings people together.

Every product and experience is created with the belief that the simplest moments are often the most meaningful.
